The exterior top of this old fashioned teapot is hand-painted: Let’s have a cup of Kindness – For Auld Lang Syne
The exterior sides of the teapot seem to be raised reliefs of floral motif.
The colors of the teapot are: cream, brown, blue, light brown and black Underneath/inside the lid is signed: M. Robbins
Lid has vent hole.
Inside of teapot are no filter/strainer holes.
Underneath the tea pot seems to be signed: Birthday Greetings To Ann From Iney [SIC]
Around the edge of teapot base seems to be faintly handwritten: M. Robbins October 1900 (or 1909) [SIC]
Approximate Overall Dimensions: 10.25″ (L) x 7″ (W) x 6.25″ (H), tea pot pre-shipping weight is almost 2 lbs.
Teapot is over 100 years old. Commensurate with age, it is not perfect; however, there are no visible major chips, no cracks (except for crazing throughout), no repairs. Tea pot has crazing, stains and tea staining throughout.
This beautiful collectible is stored in a SMOKE/ODOR/PET-FREE, Climate-Controlled Environment.
